Setting up 2FA

During account creation, you will be prompted to set up 2FA to enhance the security of your account.

If you don't already have a preferred authenticator, we recommend using Google or Microsoft.

You will be prompted to scan a QR code with your authenticator. If you are having trouble scanning the code, you can enter it manually instead. Once this has been copied, select ‘Continue’

Next, you’ll need to enter the code from the previous screen. If you didn’t copy it correctly, simply select ‘Back’ to try again. Once you’ve inputted the correct code, select ‘Continue’

You will then see a success confirmation. Each time you log into the App portal, the 2FA code will be required from your authenticator.

Recovery codes

Recovery codes can be used to access your account in the event that you can’t sign into the Wonde app portal, (perhaps you’ve got a new phone or lost your phone or you've deleted your authentication app) you can use one of your recovery codes to sign in securely.

To access your recovery codes

  1. Log into the Wonde App Portal
  2. Navigate to ‘Account settings’
  3. Here you will find your two-factor recovery codes.
  4. You'll need to enter your two-factor code, and click 'verify', and they will then show. Screenshot 2025-09-24 at 14.01.00.png
  5. Be sure to make a copy of your recovery codes, save them somewhere safe and do not share them with anyone. We recommend saving them with a password manager such as 1Password, Bitwarden, or LastPass.
  6. You can get a new set of codes whenever you want by clicking 'Generate new recovery codes". When you create a new set of codes, the old set automatically becomes inactive.

How to sign in using your recovery codes

  1. Find your recovery codes.
  2. Enter email and password to log into the App portal. If you can't log in using your 2FA code, you can select 'Use a recovery code'Screenshot 2025-09-24 at 14.02.58.png
  3. Enter one of your unused 6-digit recovery codes (As they can only be used once you might want to make a note of which ones have been used).Screenshot 2025-09-24 at 14.04.25.png
